DEVELOPING ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH THE MENTORING NETWORK – FEEDBACK

During the project we learned about:

– business model canvas,

– logical framework,

– how important calculation is,

– the difference between leadership and entrepreneurship,

– profit and income/outcome,

– discussing about the perfect restaurant.

We visited Hasan Kalyoncu University where we were able to see the materials produced through 3d printing, also carpet factory where we were shown how the carpets are designed and produced. Another part of the program was about visiting museums, getting to know each other better and learn about each other’s cultures.

I remembered the workshop where we made turtles out of clay and at the end it was very interesting to see who had made what.

This project made us stronger physically and mentally, as it was sometimes very difficult to be in 43 degree heat, but we made it through it.

I can personally say that the project gave me the opportunity to stop being afraid of speaking in public and presenting something, it also became easier to communicate with other participants in English.

I wish everyone to go through this wonderful experience and immerse themselves in Turkish culture!
