YOUTH EXCHANGE „Grow as you write“ – FEEDBACK
From 17th to 25th of November 2024 we used our opportunity to participate in the Erasmus plus Youth Exchange „Grow as you write“. 30 young and creative participants from Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece and Romania arrived in Valencia, Spain to improve the ways of feeling expressions by written means.
The project was filled with creative tasks aimed at working with one’s own subconscious through artistic expression. All this combined with wonderful weather and the beautiful city of Valencia gave participants the opportunity to go deep into the topic and feel healed.
We spent the days getting to know each other, debating and participating in different workshops to widen our horizons. Every morning we had some active exercises to wake up and prepare ourselves for work. Cultural evenings were also a good thing that we have experienced by this project. It’s the best way to introduce your culture and also learn something new about others. During this youth exchange, we had a free day to visit the sightseeing of Valencia. Some of us visited museums, others chose galleries, but all of us definitely had a fantastic time in Spain.
Several members of our German group, together with other project participants, travelled as volunteers to the damaged areas of Valencia to help local residents cope with the consequences of the flood.
